Court adjourns judgment on Igboho’s appeal The Federal Government appealed the N20.5 billion in damages ordered in favor of Sunday Adeyemo aka Igboho against the Department of State Services, and the Court of Appeal, Ibadan Division has reserved decision in that case. After court on Wednesday, Chief Yomi Aliyyu (SAN), the attorney representing Igboho, informed the media that the matter had been postponed for judgment. He stated that the parties to the lawsuit would be informed of the precise date of the judgment by the court. Journalists and Igboho supporters who had gathered outside the courthouse were not permitted entry. Igboho cannot be allowed to pass away like Chief Moshood Abiola did during the military regime, according to his supporters who rushed the court to demand his release.
