Seven railway passengers who had been liberated met their relatives. According to The MEDIA, the seven hostages freed by the terrorists who assaulted the AK-9 Abuja-Kaduna train have been reunited with their family. On Saturday, the terrorists freed a further group of seven captives after more than a hundred days in captivity. The MEDIA claimed that 43 of the hostages were still being held captive by the terrorists three weeks after 11 of the 61 victims of the kidnapped train passengers were freed, leaving 50 hostages. The release of the hostages and their reunion with their families was announced on Sunday by Mallam Tukur Mamu, one of the negotiators and the media advisor to notorious Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi. Bosede Olurotimi, Abubakar Zubairu, Alhassan Sule and Sadiq Ango Abdullahi, Muhammad Daiyabu Paki, Aliyu Usman, and Dr. Muhammad Abuzar Afzal are the seven hostages who have been reunited with their family.
