Kabir Masari is Tinubu’s running mate, says APC chieftain

According to Kabiru Faskari, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kabir Masari will be Bola Tinubu's running mate in the 2023 elections. In an interview with Channels Television on Friday, Faskari stated this. When Adams Oshiomhole, the former Edo governor, was the party's national chairman, Masari was the welfare secretary. "Our vice-presidential nominee is Ibrahim Kabiru Masari. Under Oshiomhole, he was the APC's welfare secretary. He is a well-known politician in the United States. "His name has been submitted," said the APC leader.
He qualifies as a political veteran because he has been involved in politics since the beginning. He began his political career as a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). He is a young man. He represents the youths and is well-versed in politics, having served as a national APC official and being close to the presidential candidate. "He's been with him for quite some time." I believe it was a wise decision to publicize his name." Meanwhile, the APC presidential candidate has filed his nomination form to the Independent National Electoral Commission, according to a statement issued by Tinubu's campaign office on Friday (INEC)."The flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress, HE Aswáj Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has delivered his legally completed nomination forms to INEC as specified by election law and the Independent National Electoral Commission rules and timetable," the statement states. "The forms were returned two days ahead of time on Wednesday, June 15th. "We desire to underline that HE Aswáj Tinubu is now prepared to run for President on February 25, 2023, in order to provide progressive excellent governance to our people." The news comes as INEC sets a deadline of June 17 for political parties to submit their candidate lists for the 2023 general election.

During a meeting with business executives at the White House, US President Joe Biden unintentionally displayed a "cheat sheet" with simple instructions on where to sit and what to do. Biden mistookly handed the list of directions to the photographers, which stated to "take YOUR seat," "YOU deliver brief comments," and "YOU go." The 79-year-old, who is said to have early-stage dementia, was also told to speak with some attendees, engage them in conversation, and thank them before departing. Major worries about the President's wellbeing and mental capacity as he approaches 80 have been raised as a result of his errors.
