Adeboye advises Christians that they don't need a gun for self-defense.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, has urged Christians to use cow jaw bones for self-defense rather than firearms.

While clarifying his stance on Christians using self-defense, Adeboye claimed that Samson won battles in the Bible with jaw bones rather than an AK-47.

The revered priest clarified the matter on Sunday in a sermon titled "Made for the top" delivered during the church's regular Thanksgiving ceremony, which our correspondent observed.

"I never urged Christians to own firearms; they are not required. Samson didn't use an AK-47 during battle. Avoid going to buy weapons, Adeboye advised.

He claimed that whereas Nigerians needed authorization to buy guns, they did not need it to obtain cow jawbone.

Adeboye complained how challenging it would be to teach students about Samson's achievements in a Sunday school, adding that jaw bones ought to do.

The greatest method to demonstrate to youngsters in Sunday school, he continued, "is to show them using the jaw bone of a cow, don't buy firearms."

Adeboye emphasized that people should be diligent, strive hard to rise to the top, and not wait to be contaminated when speaking further about how to avoid danger, particularly as it applies to sexual harassment against both men and women.

During a meeting with business executives at the White House, US President Joe Biden unintentionally displayed a "cheat sheet" with simple instructions on where to sit and what to do. Biden mistookly handed the list of directions to the photographers, which stated to "take YOUR seat," "YOU deliver brief comments," and "YOU go." The 79-year-old, who is said to have early-stage dementia, was also told to speak with some attendees, engage them in conversation, and thank them before departing. Major worries about the President's wellbeing and mental capacity as he approaches 80 have been raised as a result of his errors.
